‭‭Psalms‬ ‭4:6-8

Many, Lord, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?“  Let the light of your face.  You have filled my heart with more joy than when their grain and new wine abound. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭4:6-8

Dear Lord,

These words seem to be written for such a time as this when governments are as frightened as the populace. My hope is not in our collective ability to preserve life. But my hope is in you and your promise to sustain my life to the very last moment when you send your angels to bring me to glory.  I will live in peace, share with my neighbor and will encourage others to put their hope in you. I look forward to the good you will bring out of this national struggle.

Amen
