Psalm 104:16-18

The trees of the Lord are well watered,
    the cedars of Lebanon that he planted.
There the birds make their nests;
    the stork has its home in the junipers.
The high mountains belong to the wild goats;
    the crags are a refuge for the hyrax. – Psalm 104:16-18

Dear Lord,

You make a home for every living thing.  Help me to see my home as a gift from you just like you give homes to the wild animals among your trees.  Give me the faith and appreciation to take care of what you have given in a way that honors you as the giver.  Give me a restorative hand that refurbishes and revitalizes the home that I share with my family.  Help them to see in me what you are like by the way I rejoice to make things better for them in their habitat, their transportation and their provisions.  Make me indiscriminate in how I bless family, friends and foes just as you rain on the evil and the good.  Make me a grace giving, life blessing machine. AMEN
