Colossians 3:23-24

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. - Colossians 3:23-24

Dear Jesus, 

I do not want to be hindered by a bad attitude when I am serving my family, church or community.  But sometimes the circumstances between them and me are difficult.  It makes it hard to do my job with joy.  This word from Paul helps me stay focused.  I am serving you, my creator and loving Savior, when I am serving them.  I can do this for you even when they are a pain.  You will be happy, and I will be blessed. Thank you for this golden nugget of truth to carry with me into every situation.
