1 Corinthians 12:21,25

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” ... that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. - 1 Corinthians 12:21,25

Dear Jesus,

Help me to be small enough to let myself need my Christian siblings to make it through each day. Help me be humble enough to ask for their help. Help me be self divested enough to give them a meaningful word of encouragement. Help me be astute enough to take their opinions seriously, and loving enough to correct them gently if they need me to. When they are honored give me genuine joy for them with a voice to tell them how proud I am of them. Make me own them like I own my own self and to seek their welfare even before my own. You taught me to aspire to these virtues by how you have treated me.

Amen
