Colossians 4:5-6

Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. - Colossians 4:5-6

Dear Jesus, 

It's so easy for me to forget that every conversation is an opportunity to bless, encourage, give peace, and build up.  I can easily fall into sarcasm and critique.  Give me a heart so possessed with reaching souls that I guard my mouth and instruct my tongue on how to help people feel your grace and mercy in my words.  Make me gentle, kind, and filled with compassion. And give me the words that point people to you and your love for them.
