Philippians 3:17

Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do. - Philippians 3:17

Dear Jesus,

I know the greatest thing you did was live and die for me so that I might be saved.  But that also makes you the supreme example of how I should live my life.  Because he so faithfully followed in your footsteps Paul is an example for me too.  He says so here in the passage. Help me listen to Paul and find living examples around me who model faith, hope and love in such simple and powerful ways that I can catch the vision for how to live my life just by observing their words and actions.  Thank you for upholding people like that for me.
