Philippians 1:9-11

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9-11

Dear Jesus,

Help me view every circumstance and relationship in my life through your loving eyes.  Make me grow in love for those I respect and disrespect, those I like and don't like.  Give me the kind of love that triumphs over wrongs and relishes the opportunity to forgive.  I want to know how to process as a Christian the negative news I hear from my TV and my friends.  Make me adverse to gossip and forgetful about how others have hurt me.  Help your righteousness to find expression in my words, my silence, my facial expression and body language.  Make me a faith filled loving person with everyone near and far.
