Psalm 139:13-18
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—
when I awake, I am still with you. - Psalm 139:13-18
Dear Heavenly Father,
I spent the first few years of my life wishing I was made like someone else. I was insecure and jealous. But you have taught me to appreciate how you have made me with all my uniqueness and idiosyncrasies. You have made me to fit my spot in your masterpiece jigsaw puzzle. Help me to treat the body you have fashioned for me with respect and appreciation. I know that you have all my days counted out for me. I won't die one day too soon or too late and even then i will be saved for eternal life. Thank you for creating me and giving me a time to live on your planet. Help me to use my time of grace for the benefit of others.
Amen
