John 14:18-21

I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.” – John 14:18-21

Dear Jesus,

I cannot see your frame but I know your presence.  I sense the peace of your Spirit in my soul and I see it in other believers around me.  Even when I am alone I do not feel alone as long as I have a word from you and the proper understanding of it to comfort and guide my soul.  I feel close to you and your Father when I know your grace, your love and your hope.  You are my constant companion because your words are here with me and your Holy Spirit reminds me of them at the most appropriate times.  Thank you for keeping your promise to send the Holy Spirit to our hearts after your life on earth was completed.

Amen

We are not alone and we never will be.  God is with us and his words are near to our hearts.
