Matthew 7:9-11
“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! – Matthew 7:9-11
Dear Jesus,
I catch myself struggling and stressing over many things from A to Z in my life. How refreshing and encouraging are your words that if we ask our Father we will receive gifts from his hand. I need spiritual blessings, emotional healing, physical support and shelter. I have family and friends that need all these too. I give all my worries to you and right now I specifically ask for the blessings I can see that I need and even those that I don’t. Be the giver of all good things in my life. With you I am only a child begging his parents for undeserved and unearned blessings. And I am ready to use them with a thankful, worshipful heart. AMEN
