Isaiah 55:8-9

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. - Isaiah 55:8-9

Dear Heavenly Father,

Well, that verse is the understatement of the century.  You have shown me how different my ideas are from yours in how you have unfolded my life. And while most of the events you orchestrated turned out better than my abandoned plans, I trust that those that seem to have been a curse, are actually going to turn out to be a blessing.  I love the mystery involved from knowing you you are thinking much higher thoughts about my life than I am.  Go ahead and take the wheel.  Just let me know when you want me to get out and do some good works for you.  I will do my best to blossom where I am planted by clinging to your promises.
