Psalm 59:16

But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. - Psalm 59:16

Dear Heavenly Father,

I get bounced around out in the world by people who don't care too much about my fragile self worth and security.  I'm also, vulnerable to car crashes and health problems and everything in between.  If I dwell on these things I get nervous and jittery too.  That's why I love this verse from David so many years ago.  I can't see you but your invisible qualities are everywhere.  So, I know you are there holding our lives in your hands.  I will start my day depending on your love and protection.  You made me and you bought me back through the blood of your Son.  You will protect me until you call me home to heaven.  That is the foundation under my day.  It will be a good day if it's built on this faith.

Amen
