‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:25-27‬ ‭

Matthew_ _11_25-27_.png

At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do. “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:25-27‬ ‭

Dear Jesus,

I love it that you have made the gospel so simple that every human being can grasp it. You love us so much that you forgave us all. You paid the debt that we owe. You promise blessing in this life, the Holy Spirit to help us grow and heaven forever in body and soul. People don’t have to be smart or special to receive this. Thank you for choosing to reveal your truth to a plain sinner like me. I love you for it. I will seek to love you today by the way I live.

Amen

God did not create the gospel for smart or good people alone. He created it for all people.
