Matthew 6:9-13

Matthew 6_9-13.png

“This, then, is how you should pray:

“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come, your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’ - Matthew 6:9-13

Dear Jesus,

How could we ever improve on the prayer you gave us? It shows us what kind of prayer you and the Father want from us. Help me learn the meaning of every phrase and learn to pray it from my heart.

Amen

Pastor Don Patterson

The prayer Jesus gave us shows us how God wants us to think and talk to him.
