Dear Jesus,

You have made me salt by redeeming me and teaching me your ways. It makes me different than the world. I have love for people, love for the truth and love for purity. Being different can be abrasive, even painful. But I know it enables me to make a difference in people's lives. I am your preservative. Don't allow me to hide or lose my saltiness. Instead, give me boldness to speak your truths into the lives of others. Once I have touched them with truth, they cannot erase it from their minds. It's there to do it's work all on it's own. Give me faith and love that make me season the world of people around me.
