Psalm 103:13

As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him. - Psalm 103:13

Dear Heavenly Father,

When I hear you say that you have compassion on me like a father does on his children, I think of my own dad and how he was my raving fan. I could share my joys with him without discernment. I also think about how he forgave me and supported me through many circumstances. Your fatherly love is my comfort and strength. Help me to remember that your love is even more constant than my dad's, especially when I have a difficult day or endure the criticism of others.
