John‬ ‭15:5‬ ‭

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” -‭‭John‬ ‭15:5‬ ‭

Dear Jesus,

Apart from you I can’t be spiritual, I can’t do the right things for the right reasons, I can’t cope with the tragedies that strike me. But when I am with you, my attitude changes and I can do wonderful things for the right reasons. Then I can cope with tragedy because you promise to turn everything for my good. You and your word are the spiritual blood in my spiritual vascular system, giving strength, life and meaning to everything in my life. Help me stay connected to you today by reminding me of your words when I need them to bring spiritual sap to my heart.
