Matthew‬ ‭6:27

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? Matthew‬ ‭6:27

Dear Jesus,

It sounds obvious when you say it, but we do worry as if we could extend our finite earthly lives like we owned the entire project ourselves. It’s a stark truth; our Heavenly Father holds all the cards when it comes to the end of life. Help me to let go of worry about when my time on earth is over and to focus on godly service until you send the angels to come get me.
