Proverbs 17:16

Children’s children are a crown to the aged,
and parents are the pride of their children. - Proverbs 17:16

Dear Heavenly Father,

I used to just think this passage after you. Now I feel it. Our grandchildren are a crown for us. There is something almost magical the way you created family to enhance our lives. They fill up our emotional cup even though they can be work and cause stress. Thank you for the family you have given me. Help me to be a blessing to them as much as they are to me. Help each of my loved ones to find their peace and joy in you too. And when we are together again someday soon, help us to give you the glory you deserve for having given us to each other.
