Dear Jesus,

This is one of my favorite passages in your word. Upon remembering it at any given moment, I can choose to quit thinking about my guilt, my temptations, my disappointments and my problems. I can think about the blessings you have given me, the promises of more blessings to come, the forgiveness, the guidance, the friends and
family too. When I willfully get lost in those thoughts my stress and anxiety go
down and I experience your peace and tranquility. Thank you for rescuing me
from depression by giving me a place to take a vacation in my soul.
