1 Peter 3:7
Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers. – 1 Peter 3:7
Dear Jesus,
Help me to listen to my wife with my heart wide open to understand her feelings and her needs. Make me keen to respect her. I know that she is not weaker. In fact, in many ways you have made her stronger than me. But she is more delicate. I can be boorish and rude. I repent of that and ask you to tame my manly spirit and make it a prince for her to rely on. She is an equal heir of your grace and she is your daughter. With you as my father in law, I want to toe the line. Help me Lord Jesus, be the man you wanted her to have.
Amen

Cherish your wife, don’t worship her. Love her, don’t use her.
