Psalm 23:2-3a

Psalm 23_2-3a.jpg

He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,3 he refreshes my soul. - Psalm 23:2-3a

Dear Heavenly Shepherd,

When I take the time to peacefully meditate on your precious word, it feels like a mini vacation. You take me to a quiet place where I can relax and think through my life and how you make everything better.  My inner person becomes calm and adjusted.  I understand situations, problems, and solutions better.  My soul is refreshed and my outlook is lifted up.  In these times, I sense that you are the good shepherd tending to my soul as much as my body.  I feel thankful, rested, and contented.  Oh Lord, lead me beside the quiet waters of your word.

Amen
