Ruth 2:13

“May I continue to find favor in your eyes, my lord,” Ruth said to Boaz. “You have put me at ease by speaking kindly to your servant—though I do not have the standing of one of your servants.” - Ruth 2:13

Dear Lord,

Good men and women speak kindly to everyone, without regard to status, congeniality or social opinion.  Ruth knew that.  She also wanted Boaz to know she saw his goodness.  Help me to see goodness and to model the same for others.  Make me one who makes everyone feel their worth.  Give me the gift I don't have naturally, that is; the ability to love even my enemies and to show them kindness and respect. I know how kindness blesses me when I receive it.  Help me to bless others by giving it.
