1 Peter‬ ‭2:11-12‬ ‭

“Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.” - 1 Peter‬ ‭2:11-12‬ ‭

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for reminding
me that when I fight my sinful desires and manage to get it right, I will have a powerful affect on the lost around me. They cannot avoid noticing and the powerful brain you have given them will remind them of my deeds until the end of their lives. Give me
a holy sense of purpose that makes me live demonstrably in front of all people for you. I trust that you can bear fruit from my obedience.

Amen

Living the truth in front of others helps them quit lying to themselves.
